The Col de' Salici founder members' profound knowledge of the wine market and the continuous commitment to improve each year's production have always been the driving force behind the firm. After only six years of producing Col de' Salici Prosecco di Valdobbiadene some important decisions have been taken to further valorise our wines:
- Although the Prosecco grapevine produces an aromatic wine with good acidity, traditionally marketed in still, sparkling and spumante wine versions, after careful consideration, we have decided to use the grapes - selected from the best D.o.c. areas -to produce only Extra Dry and Brut spumante D.o.c. wines, in addition, of course, to Cartizze.
- · Our Prosecco di Valdobbiadene D.o.c. wines are therefore produced only in the spumante version, which best expresses their quality and characteristics and which, like most D.o.c. wines, carry a vintage label.
